FOUNTAIN APPARATUS
Glass jet held in centre of round flask for use in fountain experiment. The flask is filled with ammonia or hydrogen chloride. The stopper with the glass tube is inserted into the flask and the apparatus is inverted, allowing the one end to dip into water. Water rises up the tube and creates a fountain-like jet of water.
